Serving as the Voice of Business:
The Caroline County Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for the business community by fostering a collaborative relationship with elected and appointed officials, including the County Commissioners, State Senators and Delegates, the Superintendent of Caroline County Public Schools, and other community leaders to discuss key policy issues.
By hosting events such as the Discussion with your County Commissioners and the Annual Legislative Wrap-up, the Chamber provides opportunities for members to meet face-to-face with elected officials to hear their opinions and strategies regarding business-related legislation and policies.
Providing Information & Resources:
In today's fast-paced business environment, the need to obtain pertinent information in a timely manner is critical for sound decision making. The Chamber recognizes this and regularly provides its members with information on public policy, economic data , county business development activity, and professional development. The Chamber also serves as a conduit to other business resources as it works collaboratively with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, Caroline County Economic Development, Caroline County Government, Caroline County Public Schools, the Mid-Shore Regional Council, and small business support agencies. We're often a business owner's greatest promoter-supporting grand openings and groundbreakings by hosting ribbon cuttings and publicizing related activities to fellow Chamber leaders, elected officials and community advocates.
The Chamber's website at CarolineChamber.org allows businesses to publicize, offer - and save money with - Member2Member discounts and events to the general public. The website also features Job Postings where members can advertise openings and recruit talented staff at no cost.
Facilitating Connections
Companies that join the Chamber understand that membership does, in fact, have privileges. Chamber membership affords business owners and their representative's access to some of Caroline County and the Mid-Shore's top institutional leaders, corporate heads and elected officials. Whether through After-Hours Mixers, Lunch and Learns, workshops and seminars, committees or our annual events, business leaders are afforded unique opportunities to build their network and grow their businesses.
