    What We’re Looking For: 
    Santé is seeking a MCT Team Leader join our frontline crisis intervention team in?Easton,?MD. 8a to 4p Monday through Friday with occasional EOW built in. The MCT Team Leader will assess, evaluate, and perform crisis intervention techniques, and will develop a crisis plan for continuation of services related to individual consumers. He or she will be responsible for all incident documentation, and will be the on-site resource for any relevant clinical information, as well as the liaison for collaboration with other involved parties including families, friends, and other community providers. 
     What You’ll Do: 

    1. Perform a danger assessment, a crisis assessment, an environmental assessment upon entry to the community situation and lethality assessment 
    1. Perform a diagnostic assessment 
    1. Perform an on scene assessment and treatment plan 
    1. Effectively perform crisis intervention including de-escalation, crisis planning and implementation 
    1. Able to show knowledge of various community referrals, mental health and non-mental health 
    1. Ability to make appropriate referrals, providing follow-up accordingly to ensure linkage 
    1. Competently make decisions about the need for an emergency petition and/or alternative psychiatric evaluation 
    1. Ability to complete an emergency petition and educate any appropriate party on the process 
    1. Be able to address population of child, adolescent, adult, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring and elderly 
    1. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the medical implications when working with substance abuse consumers 
    1. Work with families and involved persons to de-escalate the situation, make a crisis plan, and enlist cooperation with recommended treatment 
    1. Provide accurate clinical information to family and involved persons related to recommendations and possibilities for treatment 
    1. Work in a professional and collaborative way with police, fire and other community agencies when asked to do so 
    1. Provide consultation and coordination to ER staff, if ER evaluation is necessary 
    1. Appropriately and effectively document clinical and non-clinical information, regarding consumers, using CRS procedures 
    1. Participate in and complete all required trainings 
    1. Provide education in the community about the agency and all components of CRS when needed 
    1. Check work e-mail and EMR according to agency protocol 
    1. Able to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to interns and/or lesser licensed staff 
    1. Abide by all Federal, State and local confidentiality regulations (ie: HIPAA, 42CFR Part 2, etc…) 
    1. Comply with all mandatory reporting and duty to warn, according to Federal, State and local regulations 
    1. Able to comply with and follow all of the programs’ contractual and operational requirements, as outlined by your manager 
    What We Require: 
    • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study. 
    • Must possess and maintain current licensure in the State of Maryland (ie: LCSW-C/LCPC). 
    • Mobile Crisis Specialists for Eastern Shore Mobile Crisis are hired for our regional program.  While the primary workplace may be closest to the individual’s home, work assignments could be in any of the shore’s current locations (Cambridge, Chestertown, Elkton and Salisbury).  As we operate as a 365 day per year service, Mobile Crisis Specialists must be available for day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts, as scheduled. While every effort may be made to create a schedule that meets the individual staff person’s needs, the schedule is created first and foremost to meet the needs of the program. 
    • Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

    • Salary Range:?$32.00-35.00?per hour (depending on licensure and experience).
